Which is better – a traditional or memory foam mattress?

Old habits are hard to break, so venturing into "new" territory comes with this key question.  Our answer is quite easy – memory foam!

Key Benefits of Memory Foam

Memory Foam mattresses have far more benefits than a traditional innerspring mattress.

1)  They include proper spinal alignment regardless of how you sleep: side, back,  or stomach.

2)  Memory foam mattresses also provide the most pressure relief.

3)  There's absolutely zero motion transfer.  If your partner tosses and turns, you will not feel any movement.

4)  Another benefit is that you sleep "in" the mattress not "on" the mattress.  The foam conforms to you allowing you to get a good night's rest by holding you in the same sleep position all night long.

Hybrid Mattresses – Bridging the Past with Present

Traditional innerspring mattress gone the way of  the horse and buggy.  The hybrid mattress has taken its place.  Some don't like that "quick-sand" feeling or sinking sensation with an all-foam mattress.  A hybrid mattress provides an alternative.  Hybrid mattresses have a pocket of coils on the lower half and high quality foam in the upper half of the mattress.  With a hybrid mattress, you're sleeping on  Íž"top" of the mattress, not "in" the mattress.

Sleep "Cool" on Memory Foam

One of the main concerns about memory foam mattresses is the heat.  We agree that five to eight years ago this was a true concern.  However, today most memory foam mattresses have some type of cooling technology to help deal with temperature control.
